The police in Lagos state have arrested a Muslim cleric named Fatai Afobaje (pictured far left) for conniving with some of his friends including a security officer (middle) to kill and share the body parts of his bosom friend, 40 year old Kwara indigene, Rafiu Suleiman (pictured right) for money rituals at Oko Agbonla, Magbon in Badagry area of Lagos state on Friday February 13th.

According to Punch, Alfa Fatai and Suleiman became friends after they met inside a public transport where Suleiman paid for the transport fare of Alfa Fatai as a mark of respect. After that, the two became friends. Continue...

The nude corpse of a lady was discovered a day after Valentine's day on Sunday Feb. 15th at Okwu village in Umunneato autonomous community in Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State.

The corpse had bruises all over, especially around the breasts and private parts, leading people to believe she was brutally raped and murdered. The identity of the victim or her age is still unknown. The people who discovered her body called the police who came to remove the corpse.

The witness who saw her body told a Vanguard reporter "I am not too sure that it was a case of ritual killing because no part of the girl, on the face value, was missing. It is, to me, a case of brutal gang-raping to death of the unfortunate girl.” See the very graphic photos after the cut

A frustrated male traveler shocked airport staff at Russia's Pulkovo Airport in St Petersburg, by stripping completely naked after he was sent back to remove his belt and shoes, while passing through metal detector. And the whole thing was caught on camera.

The frustrated man first removed his trousers, shirt and before anyone knew what was going on, he removed his undergarment, exposing himself to other travelers. Then while naked, he removed his watch. The bewildered security guards, who didn't seem to know how to react, didn't do anything to stop the man. Then the man goes through the scanner, turns to the security men and asked them if they wanted to search his butt...lol. Praise da Lord! New York City goes 12 days without a murder

So for 12 days no one was killed in New York City and New Yorkers are happy about it and reporting it. It's a modern day record. Read the report from CNN below..

New York City's longest recorded homicide-free streak ended late Friday night, when a 28-year-old man was shot multiple times just before midnight.

Eric Roman was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition with gunshot wounds to his head, hand and leg and died Saturday, according to the NYPD.

New York City had gone 12 days without a homicide, its longest stretch on modern record, police said yesterday Monday.

A desperate grandfather has had a tumour that weighed a stone and grew to twice the size of his head removed after he walked for three days to seek help. Sambany revealed that he took on the extraordinary mission after hearing about a brilliant charity that performs medical treatments in some of the poorest nations on earth.

Traffic police in the town of Surgut, western Siberia, fined a female driver 500 rubles ($8) because her dog was not wearing a seatbelt, the driver told TASS on Monday.

Anna Shelygina said her dog, an American Staffordshire Terrier, was fond of taking a ride in the front seat and looking at the road.

"A police officer said the dog in the front seat was considered a passenger and had to wear a seatbelt," the driver said, addding that she would not pay the fine as "there is no law saying animals should wear seatbelts".
