STRANGE BUT TRUE: Five women accused of witchcraft beaten to death in India ( Photos)

The residents of Kinjia village in the Jharkhand state had blamed 5 women for failing crops, bringing illness to the village and even for the recent death of a child through their witchcraft.

At around midnight on Friday August 7th, the women, aged between 45 and 50 were dragged from their homes and attacked with sticks and iron rods.

The Nigerian Army paraded two alleged fraudsters Osakpolor Agustín and Felixstowe Osarumwense Osaga, who they say specialized in impersonating military officers on social media to defraud members of the public. They were arrested following a tip off at Ekpoma in Edo state on Aug 5th.

A woman named Chioma Anoruo has been arrested by the Owerri, Imo state Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), after she confessed to selling about 19 children to ritualists.
