Cairns killings of 8 children

A woman has been arrested for murder over the killings of eight children at a house in Australia.

The 37-year-old is the mother of seven of the children, who had all been stabbed to death. The eighth child was her niece.

The unnamed suspect is currently under guard at a hospital, where she is recovering from stab wounds to the chest.

Queensland Police Detective Inspector Bruno Asnicar said she has not yet been formally charged with killing the youngsters, who were aged from 18 months to 15 years old.

Police have not said how they died, but are examining several knives in the Cairns home that may have been the murder weapon.

As a fire burns in a Sacramento home in the middle of the night, a Labrador proves he really is his owner's best friend.


A dog has been credited with saving the life of its owner after nudging him and alerting him to a fire inside his California home. The man told Sacramento firefighters that he was sleeping when Buddy, a chocolate Labrador, woke him up on Thursday night.

The Osun High Court in Okuku, has sentenced two men to death for stealing fowls. The convicts, Olowookere Seguana & Morakinyo Sunday were found guilty of breaking into the home of the complainant Balogun Tope and stealing his fowls. The men had been in his house before to steal.

The robbers had also been sighted around the complainant's house with a cutlass and dane gun. They also confessed to earlier robbing one Alhaja Umani Oyewo in her house and stole broilers, eggs and kegs of vegetable oil from the house.

They were charged with conspiracy, robbery and stealing. In the judgement, there were convicted on three counts: death for conspiracy, life sentence for robbery and 3 years' imprisonment for stealing.

Just saw this horrific video on LiveLeak.com that I'm sure will give me nightmares for days. It shows Boko Haram men executing young men - allegedly - because they refused to join them. According to the site, the video was filmed sometime in November in Northern Nigeria. The militants pick the men up one after the other, shoot them on the head at close range and toss their body in a river under a bridge. If you have the heart, then watch on this link

As Strange as somethings might seem, its so real and we kept wondering where it all comes from, in this episode see,  The founder of Ghana-based International God's Way Church, a man that goes by the name pastor Daniel Obinim is in trouble once again after a video of him stepping and kicking the stomach of a pregnant woman in his church surfaced this week.

The video shows the man speaking in tongues as he kicks the woman said to be suffering some kind of ailment...he was trying to cure of it. Imagine! This is the same pastor who was arrested & charged for using offensive weapons on his congregation and at one time was accused and charged for sleeping with one of his pastor's wife.

Daniel Obimin has been described as a false prophet by so many people but this hasn't stopped his follower from following blindly. See the video after the cut...
